I used to think exactly the same till i started to listen to the lyrics of storm n whizzkid, theyre both quite socially concious lyricists n a lot of what they say does make sense..

He's sets are pretty cringe worthy to be fair. Reminded me of Judge Jules at passion. Very predictable.
Also Livelee sounds like franks spencer.
Not neseccerily bad things but I don't wanna hear it.

aye, i lurve whizzkid (obviously) but i agree about storm aswell, i dont really like his style all that much, his voice gets to me, but as for a lyricallist he really does have some top notch lyrics.
and as for livelee soundin like frank specner, no he dont he sounds like my ex's mate woody - always when u were in a state ud become comatozed and the only thing ud be aware of was woody mc'in in the background... and after many a NYE party the start of this year my ex and his best mate danny went and crashed at his house.. and sat there in a complete mess and quite happily carried on a conversation with woody cus we cud hear him mcin - kept tellin him to quieten down a bit etc....
turns out woody wasnt actually there, cus at one point he shouted out 'alex... alex to the stage please' and when alex (my ex) got up we came to life and realised woody wasnt there - it was a vibes and livelee tape ........ helluva a spin out im tellin you!!!!!

some of the old vibes stuff is class, just coz he dont do any new stuff doesnt mean we should forget about him, theres still records of his stuff all over the place. DJ vibes will be remembered as one of the better hardcore dj's. the classic tunes are better anyway.

Vibes' sets are always something unique, he's always used a lot of dubplates which makes every set a one off experience!!
