Funny you should say that actually.I used to play gran turismo with hhc
on and now everytime I go on it without music on I always think of the
same choons that I listened to while racin.
Or maybe Im just weird I dunno.
Im just a bassline addict
Im just a hardcore addict
Im just a dancefloor manic
Why o why cant you just accept it.

depends on the game, rpgs i usually like to listen to the background music on them (especially final fantasy =9). but like racing/fighting games i usually have some form of electronic music playing...it seems like quiet a few games are starting to get some decent back ground music
i liked the design on the first ridge racer for ps1; you could load the entire game, take the disc out and put in another music cd to listen to =)

I'd definatly agree there the standard of the Sound-Track for games is really taking off....Companies are now getting some really good backround-Tunage for games now :-)

Yeah ... too bad the rest of the game sucked major ass =P
Back on-topic, I also like playing hard electronic music when I'm playing flight/space sims, although for some reason I can't bear to listen to anything other than the game soundtrack when I'm playing a Star Wars game *shrugs*

hey, i enjoyed playing ridge racer =P
and i think the reason you have to listen to it is because we all know john williams is a kick ass producer =P
but you know the more i listen to classical music the more things i find he's taken ideas from...

^^ true, but the fact remains it just doesn't feel right to pilot an Advanced TIE to anything but the movie score.

I'll often listen to the radio show or sets from Sonic Fury while playing Warcraft 3. That's actually the only game I've been playing since it came out and I never even get a chance to play it. I'm still halfway through the orc campaign. Guess I'm not a very good gamer.

LOL don't feel too bad, CandyAss ... I've had StarCraft: Broodwars for over a year now and I still haven't finished the Zerg campaign. These (relatively) new RTS's aren't nearly as easy as Dune II used to be.

A friend of mine showed me a site saying that the PS3 chip will be more powerful than a pentium4 2.5 Ghz!
