Ahhh maaaaaaan! Salvia is sooooo sick. You seem well informed with all things drug related, so I'm assuming you know to do salvia purely in a bong? I wouldn't recommend smoking it in a joint because a) you won't achieve any of it's amazing psychedelic effects that way and b) it will just mong you out more than a shitty batch of hash would.
I wrote a trip report the day after I did salvia for the second or third time, but I'm pretty sure it was only on my work PC, which I obviously can't get to know. It's an interesting read. Wish I'd saved it.

I only ever smoke from a pipe really. I don't like tobacco with my weed and rolling blunts just uses too much weed I have a nice glass pipe which I really like. Doing salvia in a pipe does work slightly but not very well, I haven't had much from salvia at all apart from when I felt myself slipping into a very uncomfortable place and quickly pulled myself out.
I want to get some 70x salvia or something, the 15x isn't really cutting it for me. What have your trips been like?

If 15x wasn't doing it for you then you may not be doing it properly. 70x will blow your head clean off. Wouldn't go near it myself.

i've always wondered what it wud be like to be somewhere when an earthquake happened ur adrenaline must go off the charts i've heard of people purposley lookin for that kinda thrill glad the uk dnt get earthquakes we can't even deal with snow durin winter lol

I completely agree. FCUK doing x70. Especially if you're an inexperienced user, you could get yourself into a pretty messed up situation with something that strong. ive done salvia only once, i was watching star wars the clone wars with my sister and i started smoking, it was kinda instant haha the tv started leaking starwars and the next thing i knew i was fighing with lightsabers lolololol no joke

Me and a friend mixed up some 10x salvia with some 15x salvia (dunno why) and I took a hit, held it for about 10 seconds, exhaled, took another hit and kept going like that about 5 times and that's when I did definitely start tripping but it felt a bit uncomfortable and scary so I pulled out quick before I got too deep. The setting wasn't really right though and I wasn't in the right mindset which probably had a lot to do with it.
I know the correct way is a high powered lighter and a bong but I have neither and don't really want to get them. The time I mentioned above my friend tripped on 10x salvia using just a pipe and a bic lighter so I know it can be done I'm just doing something wrong.
For a legal substance salvia is definitely mental though I know that, I just want to get to that stage of mental-ness. How much is a decent amount to smoke, I've still got some left and might do some more and try and hold it for 30 seconds this time.

It probably can be done through a pipe, but I would say that unless you have been a smoker (cigarettes) for a long time, it's gonna murder your throat to take a sufficient toke. That's why a bong with water in the bottom is important. Makes it smooth enough to take a big enough hit. And if you don't want to buy one, just make one out of an Evian bottle, it's not hard. As for the lighter - makes no different. Slightly easier with an electric, but it doesn't effect the outcome.
I really recommend trying it man. I was apprehensive at first as well, but if you just go with it, it's fine. It's a bit scary, sure - because it's always going to be scary when you can't tell what is reality and what isn't. But when you get to the depth of the trip - you're not even conscious enough to think "Is this real or not" - it's just there. Get your trip sitter to remember a few key words, and if he sees you getting scared, he can say them, and you will hear them, relate to them, and you can pull yourself out. It does work - happened to me before.

yeah tripping doesn't bother me too much, I've done 3.5g and 4g of shrooms at raves before that was very weird, very insightful and danged confusing to say the least, the sensory overload was absolutely mad. I was in this chillout room that had these blinking lights and even they were too much for me at one point.
That bong logic makes a lot of sense though, and would explain why my friend was able to hold it longer than me (I don't smoke cigarettes). Sounds like a plan with the evian bottle, have to say I'm a bit hesitant about ghetto bongs and pipes but I'll give it a go.
How much is enough 10x ? Also I like your safety tips there, that does sound really effective, I love knowing loads about harm prevention, can turn people's trips around totally if they're having a rough time.

In terms of quantity. Just use the amount that you would use to handsomely cover the mesh of a pipe. You reeeaaaly don't need a lot. When this stuff is done right, you don't need much. Whenever I've got mine, I've always got it in small cylindrical vials, maybe six, seven centimetres tall. You'd use barely a tenth of that for one person to have an insane trip.
It's just experimentation man. Just remember though, that the 30 second minimum is always the key.

Oh right I must have wasted loads then because I know the vials you're talking about and I used about half of it packing the bowl of the pipe to the top and just took as big a hit as I could. Yeah definitely man do it haha when you're back lemme know and we'll sort out a sesh or something
