My friend is going to defqon he's from australia but I think he's going to the NL one. It seems crazy that defqon exists like we never get that much hardstyle I can't believe there's such a huge scene for it that we don't even see. I think the defqon stage is like bigger than anything UK hardcore has to offer anywhere. or am I thinking of q-dance? they're both really big
I wanna go to tomorrowland in belgium to see Astral Projection...I might well do that if I have the cash. Belgium isn't far and I'm supposed to be going to the netherlands in July for a different psytrance festival so like..wow I could just go straight there. weird.

Defqon is more then just hardstyle :) I got mostly for the Gabber :)
I dont say no to some good hardstyle now and again
Yeah the main stage for defqon is huuuuuuge! Q-dance certainly know how to throw a party, All their stages are ridiculously amazing! Qlimax and stuff aswell.

That's crazy really, there's nothing like that for UK Hardcore and stuff. Weird when you consider how radio friendly UK Hardcore is in comparison with gabber and stuff. I don't mind the odd gabber track but a lot of it is so damn hard it hurts. I sat next to a speaker for 10 minutes blaring gabber on a comedown one night and I think it seriously destroyed a lot of my hearing permenantly lol. hardstyle is in the same boat for me but I can probably survive a set of hardstyle. I'm not sure about gabber.

See i used to only be like a little hardcore raver, then I heard gabber and im like :O Gabber is like everything to me now haha. Dont get me wrong I still love hardcore but gabber just does soemthing for me haha.

wow jesus christ that's ridiculous. My friend is all over the gabber, he would probably piss himself if he went to that, I think I probably would a little bit as well, but then I do like fireworks.
I can see why you only like gabber. I don't think upfront hardcore has much to offer as a music genre, gabber is dark and so is hardstyle so they can both be atmospheric and create imagery and stuff whereas UK hardcore has abandoned all the happy so we don't have much we can do with the music

this years UK hardcore is ass :( Im just really not liking much of it,
haha i still love uk..Im one of s3rls biggest fangirls haha
but i dunno gabber for me is just more of a release i guess,
music says things you cant say..gabber says alot.
haha the endshow was a bit orgasmic, hope this years is better

I guess if gabber says a lot for you then what you had to say probably had a lot of profanities haha. I like s3rls older stuff, I was really shocked a few months ago to find out not many actual ravers really know him in the UK he needs to play here more. yeah UK hardcore is like getting more difficult to pick tunes out that I like, there's gonna be another genre that takes over my interest soon no doubt. might be psytrance or electro

I'm sure I'll end up there at some point...just not near any spiders. I never got taken on holidays and stuff when I was younger so it's like now I realized all the places I can go it's like wow. Don't you have to pass a drug test to get into Australia even for a visit though?
